If there is one show that put Cali on the global entertainment map, it's Delirio. Running for nearly 20 years and winner of the Best Nightlife in Colombia award at the Latino Music Awards, Delirio is described by visitors as something you could only find in Las Vegas — except it's here, in Cali, and it's entirely homegrown.
The show takes place under a spectacular purpose-built tent — the Carpa Delirio — located near the Valle del Pacífico events center. The formula is built around four elements: dance, live orchestra, circus, and the audience itself. Over 200 artists take the stage each performance, combining professional salsa dancers with acrobats, aerialists, live musicians, and singers.
What makes Delirio unique is its production scale. Every year brings a completely new aesthetic theme — different costumes, different choreography, different staging. The show has been compared favorably to the Moulin Rouge in Paris and the Tropicana in Havana, and those who have seen all three often say Delirio surpasses both.

Born in 2011 from an unlikely combination of traditional Colombian games and salsa choreography, Ensálsate has grown over fifteen years into one of Cali's most beloved cultural institutions. It is now described by the city itself as a cultural heritage of Cali — and by visitors as the most glamorous salsa show they've ever seen.
The show takes place at the elegant Hotel Dann Carlton, one of Cali's finest venues, and that setting shapes the entire experience. This is salsa with sequins and chandeliers. Over 60 artists perform on stage, including world champions in Cali-style salsa, live singers, and a full live orchestra. Each performance features over 500 costume changes — an almost incomprehensible number that means the visual spectacle never stops moving.
What distinguishes Ensálsate from Delirio is its focus: pure dance. While Delirio combines salsa with circus arts, Ensálsate is dedicated primarily to showcasing the depth and beauty of salsa and Colombian folk dance. Each season has a different concept — past themes have included Cinema en Salsa (iconic movies reimagined through salsa), Mi Tierra (a celebration of Colombian identity), and Hechizo Caribe (Caribbean rhythms fused with salsa).
The show also has a social mission: its foundation provides professional dance training to young people from vulnerable communities across Cali, giving them a path into the performing arts.

While Delirio and Ensálsate dazzle with scale, El Mulato Cabaret does something different: it brings you up close to the dancers. This is the first Latin cabaret in Colombia, born from the renowned Swing Latino dance company — ambassadors of Colombian salsa who have performed in over 100 countries and competed on NBC's World of Dance.
The venue itself is a showpiece: a stage of reds and golds inspired by Broadway, a black-and-white checkered floor, and intimate seating that puts you just meters from world champion dancers. With around 20 professional artists on stage per show, the format is more cabaret than stadium — you feel every footwork sequence, every spin, every connection between the dancers.
The show is a journey through the rhythms that gave birth to salsa: cha-cha-chá, bolero, guaracha, mambo, pachanga, boogaloo, pasodoble, rock and roll, and Charleston — all leading up to the explosive finale of Cali-style salsa. It's a history lesson danced at full speed.
El Mulato also serves as a stage for Cali's smaller dance academies — every week, different schools from across the city perform here, making it a living showcase of the city's dance ecosystem. On Sundays, the social dance after the show goes until the early hours of the morning.
